Grand Gothic

A true gothic yarn, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield delivers a creepy read similar to classics like The Turn of the Screw.  With typical constructs like a major fire, twins and, of course, a governess, Setterfield uses inspiration from established gothic tales to spin a fresh twist for a new generation.  Margaret is collecting the true story of the author Vida Winter’s life and all the strange events and details in it. Ghosts and storytelling abound, so curl up with a mug of hot chocolate and enjoy.
